To help keep our youth and community healthy and reduce risks, here is what we propose to do at our volleyball sessions. These points can be adjusted to accommodate the recommendations and requirements of local and state agencies.
When you register, you are also electronically signing to agree to our Waiver located on our Terms and Conditions page. This way you acknowledge some of the inherent risks with choosing to participate in our events.
California Youth Sports Requirement statement: Due to the nature and risk of transmission while participating in Outdoor High-Contact and Moderate-Contact sports, we are required to provide information regarding risk to all parents/guardians of minors participating in such sports, and have each parent sign an informed consent indicating their understanding and acknowledgement of the risks indicated herein. We consider your electronic signature to our Terms and Conditions as a signature to our Covid-19 Response Plan as well.
Our volleyball camp activities may include indoor or outdoor (based on facilities) volleyball training, drills, activities, and games. We work to set up participant groups that do camp activities within their selected group. Some competitions may occur with other participant groups, but in most circumstances, these groups participate on opposite sides of the volleyball courts separated by a net. Additional activities include breaks for lunch and select outdoor lakefront volleyball camps include going into the lake to cool off (must be able to stand in water if no lifeguards are on duty at the lakefront facility).
Do not come to any session if you have any these symptoms, have tested positive within 10 days, or are currently under a school quarantine. Participants and staff will not be allowed to enter our facility or session area with symptoms. Notify us if you have any of these symptoms, test positive, or go under a school quarantine after the first day of camp at 530-448-0519 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Additionally, we will be cautious and ask parents to pick up their child, or staff to leave, if they start to exhibit symptoms during camp session.
